The MensKEY delivers diagnostic insights for persistent male urogenital infection analyzing urine and semen samples to identify bacteria and fungi in samples associated with in chronic prostatitis, urethritis, epididymitis, orchitis, balanitis, and urinary tract infections (UTIs), such as cystitis, pyelonephritis, and recurrent or complicated UTIs caused by uropathogenic microorganisms. It serves as an adjunctive tool for complex or recurrent infections, particularly when traditional cultures yield inconclusive or culture-negative results and may also be used preoperatively in kidney stone removal patients to assess infection risk and guide antimicrobial strategies, complementing standard microbiological and clinical evaluations.
Rapid sequencing using NGS technology powered by advanced bioinformatics provides broad microbial identification of both bacteria and fungi, covering over 50,000 microbial targets in a single sample. qPCR enables rapid detection of bacterial load and targeted pathogen identification, offering high sensitivity for clinically relevant species. The test also screens for 17 antibiotic resistance genes, assisting in antimicrobial selection.
Validated for prostatic secretion, urine, and urethral swabs, the test includes a pre-configured sample collection kits and delivers results within 3–5 days. Separate reports for Urine and Semen samples
